From Mieders in Stubai Valley you coast west of Stubai River beside the railway line towards north until you reach the gravel road that travels from Kohlstatt housing estate to Kreitheralm Alpine Pasture Hut. The road climbs steadily to Raitiseralm Alpine Pasture Hut. From there it’s a gentle and scenic ride with very easy ups and downs to Muttereralm Alpine Pasture Hut. A gravel road takes you down to Mutters. Locals recommend riding the trail to Götzneralm Alpine Pasture Hut and descending all the way down to Axams on a gravel road – the no driving sign was smartly modified, now saying “welcome, mountain bikers.” (Author: Uli Stanciu)
