The last stage of this tour takes avid mountain bikers from Scheffau am Wilden Kaiser (745m) up to Kaiseralm (1146m).
After a short downhill track on gravel you reach lake Hintersteiner See (882m). A nice, gentle climb with a panoramic view at the Kaiser mountain range and the Kitzbüheler Horn leads to the Greidernberg mountain. Continue towards the Inntal valley to Kufstein (499m). Broad cycle paths or gravel trails with almost no change in altitude take you back to lake Walchsee (655m).
An easier alternative route is available as well: Leaving out the stage to lake Hintersteiner See, you pedal along the cycle path down in the valley – from Scheffau am to Kufstein. (Author: Tobias Fischnaller)
