To become a great mountain bike rider, it is important to master the right techniques. The Tirol Tourist Board has teamed up with Kurt Exenberger from the Bike Academy in Kirchberg to produce 15 short videos to highlight what‘s most important. Beginners can learn how to find the correct basic position on the bike, determine what equipment is most important and master braking techniques. For more advanced riders, Kurt Exenberger shows some tricks, requiring more skills, such as obstacles, switchbacks, drop offs and wheelie drops.

Kurt Exenberger is a state-certified mountain bike coach and head of the Bike Academy, which offers guided tours and training techniques. From the age of 14, when he received his first bike, he has been passionate about the sport.
