No more waiting: the adrenaline countdown starts right now in Tirol where two brand-new Bike Parks will be opened this summer.
Fast, wild, furious and without any fear – downhill bikers have all these characteristics. Tirol boasts more than 30 demanding single trails for downhill biking fans. Freeriders are looking forward to the opening of two new Bike Parks installed right at the heart of the Alps.

A brand-new and very hot trail at Bike Park Hopfgarten will be opened on 28 May with a series of party events. Those in search of adrenaline have found the right spot: more than 3 km downhill track, 600 m difference in altitude, gradient up to 30%! Perfectly shaped turns, varied terrain and surface, sections of great difficulty, gravel paths, tree roots and many more highlights create a paradise for downhill bikers. Numerous tables, drops, jumps and corners guarantee endless fun and action. At the base station you find an expert bike and equipment rental shop and bike washing facilities. The 8-person gondola takes riders effortlessly up to the top.
From July 2011 the second Bike Park in Wipptal is waiting for avid downhill fans at Bergeralm pasturelands in Steinach – offering a huge practicing area, two steep downhill trails for beginners and advanced, and a slope style area with challenging obstacles. Ultimate fun and action are guaranteed for all ability levels! Rental shop, food, drinks and lodging facilities are provided in the surroundings. Already before the official opening takes place, the park hosts the renowned Austria Extreme Cup on 25 + 26 June.
