The Bike Challenge Tirol is exactly what its name is promising: a challenge. Here’s what to expect.
The Bike Challenge Tirol is a virtual bike event. Of course you’re still biking yourself, but you’re not taking part in a traditional race because you don’t have to be on the trail at the same time as your opponents.
While you’re riding a certain distance, a GPS tool traces all the data of your actual bike ride href="https://secure.tiscover.com/media/11689/MTB-GPS%20Verleih.1390698.pdf" target="_self">>>GPS rental). You can also use mobile phones like the iPhone and some pulse watches equipped with the required GPS features. Simply upload your track(s) to our website after your tour. You only need to register once for “My Tirol” (
upload your tracks)
The Bike Challenge Tirol – more than just a mountain bike race
In the course of the Bike Challenge Tirol, amateur bikers can compete for the whole summer on
11 different race trails. Even more excitingly, all competitors can repeat each race as often as they like. In the end it's the best time that counts.
Every single result can be checked on the website afterwards, of course. You can compare your rides to the ones of the other competitors and automatically create your very own training diary.
The Bike Trail Cup is for all of those who like to take it a bit easier: In this challenge, only the vertical metres count. The time you needed for a distance doesn’t matter. The general procedure stays the same as for the Challenge: your GPS device traces your distance and you upload it on the website.
Every participant in the Bike Challenge can also print out his very own Bike
Challenge Tirol Certificate!
